L’Évaluation des capacités fonctionnelles (ÉCF) de CVE permet d’évaluer la capacité physique d’un individu à effectuer des activités professionnelles dans le cadre d’un emploi spécifique.

Si un emploi spécifique n’a pas été déterminé, alors un synopsis des capacités physiques générales de l’individu est réalisé.

Le processus de l’ÉCF de CVE peut comparer l’état de santé, les fonctions et les structures corporelles de l’individu aux exigences du travail, à une activité particulière ou à un environnement de travail.

CVE utilise le système d’ÉCF de Joule fait par Valpar qui consiste en une batterie de tests standardisés. Les tests sont basés sur des évaluations de critères qui durent un ou deux jours.

Ceux-ci offrent des résultats dans des mesures basées sur la performance et démontrent une valeur prédictive sur le retour au travail ou à la fonction de l’individu.

Les capacités fonctionnelles d’un individu jouent un rôle crucial dans sa qualité de vie et son bien-être global. L’évaluation de ces capacités est un processus essentiel qui permet aux professionnels de la santé de comprendre le niveau de fonctionnement physique, mental et social d’une personne. Cette évaluation guide non seulement le traitement médical, mais aussi les interventions visant à améliorer la qualité de vie. Qu’est-ce que l’Évaluation des Capacités Fonctionnelles? L’Évaluation de la capacité de travail fonctionnelle (ÉCTF) est une solution de mobilité permetant de réaliser des évaluations sur le lieu de travail, à l’école ou au domicile d’un individu.

L’ÉCTF est réalisée pour déterminer au mieux les capacités de travail d’un individu lorsque la fatigue et la tolérance à l’activité sont les principaux facteurs limitant un retour au travail ou à une fonction de façon sécuritaire et productive.

Cete évaluation sert à repérer, quand ils existent, les multiples obstacles qui se posent pour une activité donnée ou au lieu de travail.

Elle comprend aussi une évaluation des capacités physiques, cognitives, comportementales et psychosociales, et fait correspondre les résultats aux exigences du travail ou de l’activité concernée.

L’évaluation peut également aider à confirmer la compatibilité de certaines tâches professionnelles avec les capacités d’une personne, à déterminer les modifications ou adaptations nécessaires et, éventuellement, à déterminer si une formation supplémentaire sur le lieu de travail est nécessaire.

En plus de I’Examen médical indépendant (EMI), CVE offre aussi l’Évaluation de l’aptitude au travail (ÉAT).

L’objectif de cete évaluation est d’établir un avis spécialisé pour aider les employeurs dans le domaine des mesures d’adaptation au travail.

Lors de cete évaluation, les limitations physiques et psychologiques et les restrictions médicales (s’il y a lieu) sont évaluées afin de déterminer les mesures d’adaptation à metre en place.

Il s’agit de garantir une présence au travail qui soit saine et sécuritaire, tout en assurant la présence régulière de l’employé.

Les dossiers médicaux et les antécédents du client sont examinés par l’évaluateur, cependant aucun diagnostic ou renseignement médical personnel ne sera inclus dans le rapport soumis à l’employeur/demandeur.

Avec le consentement du client, la version intégrale du rapport sera partagée uniquement avec son médecin de famille traitant.

Les disciplines de spécialité sont les mêmes que pour les EMI. Certaines disciplines offrent des options bilingues.

L’Évaluation de l’aménagement du lieu de travail (ÉALT) de CVE comporte une visite sur le lieu de travail effectuée par un ergothérapeute afin de déterminer les obstacles physiques, cognitifs et/ou psychologiques qui empêchent une personne de retourner au travail ou de fournir un rendement maximal.

Les domaines évalués comprennent l’environnement physique, institutionnel et social.

Lors de l’évaluation, l’ergothérapeute collabore avec toutes les parties prenantes, y compris les ressources humaines, les gestionnaires, les syndicats (le cas échéant) et la personne ayant besoin de soutien, afin de négocier des aménagements appropriés du lieu de travail pour diverses conditions médicales.

Le programme de la Stratégie emploi et compétences jeunesse (SECJ), plus communément appelé par son acronyme anglais YESS (Youth Skills and Skills Strategy), nous a permis de créer ce que nous appelons le Projet YESS.

Ce programme est conçu pour aider la jeunesse autochtone, les jeunes des minorités visibles et les jeunes vivants avec une invalidité (âgés de 15 à 30 ans) qui cherchent à s’orienter sur le marché du travail et à réussir leur transition vers un emploi valorisant, rémunérateur et en demande.

Pour ce faire, il s’agit de répondre aux besoins de tous les jeunes des segments de population susmentionnés, en ce qui concerne le développement des connaissances et des réseaux par l’éducation, le développement des compétences et des expériences professionnelles compétitives.

CVE Inc. donne accès à des formations accréditées, des services d’emploi, des formations en compétences professionnelles et des interventions de qualité pour aider la jeunesse de nos communautés en leur donnant la possibilité de réussir sur un marché concurrentiel.

Qui peut presenter une demande ?

Ce programme GRATUIT est offert aux jeunes d’Ottawa qui s’identifient comme ayant un handicap, prêts à trouver un chemin vers un emploi durable et à répondre aux critères d’admissibilité suivants :

a) Entre 15 et 30 ans (inclusivement)

b) un citoyen canadien, un résident permanent ou une personne protégée au sens de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés ;

c) Légalement autorisé à travailler au Canada ; et

d) Légalement autorisé à travailler conformément aux lois et règlements provinciaux et territoriaux pertinents

Les participants doivent avoir accès à une connexion Internet à un ordinateur, à un téléphone intelligent ou à une tablette

Engagement de temps

Le programme exige un engagement de 3 semaines pour une formation virtuelle et rémunérée sur les compétences professionnelles (EE), suivie d’une opportunité d’emploi de qualité de 10 semaines, avec une moyenne de 30 heures par semaine

Une volonté d’apprendre et de développer des compétences en recherche d’emploi et de rester motivé tout au long du programme
