Tim started his career at CVE Inc. in 2000 as an accomplished entrepreneur and results-driven business development professional.
He has developed his knowledge with respect to disability management and is now recognized as a multi-level executive, consistently delivering results that exceed client expectations.
An analytical, detail-oriented professional with a solid record of increasing sales revenues, brand awareness/recognition; and strategic business development, Tim joined with his father, Neil Macmillan, to develop excellence in the CVE Inc. rehabilitation, assessment and administrative services divisions.
Tim is proud to now lead the CVE Inc. team into the future.
Julie started with CVE Inc. in 2014 and has transitioned from the role as Intake
Coordinator, to Office Administrator and Receptionist, to Supervisor of
Administrative Services including a heavy focus on Accounts Payable/Receivable. Her
many roles have made Julie knowledgeable in many facets of CVE’s protocols,
procedures, and services. With her small team of administrator, her focus continues
to be ensuring not only are all customer needs fulfilled logically and efficiently, but
also that the company as a whole, from the management team to the front-line staff
are also supported.
Dr. Marion is the Manager of Assessment Services with CVE. He completed his Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and continued on to receive his Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005. He began private practice in 2005 focussing on general practice with a gradual shift to include 3rd party independent assessments over the past 13 years.
Most recently Dr. Marion took over the responsibilities of managing the Assessment Services Department. His focus has been split to balancing both private practice and management responsibilities.
With respect to his private practice, Dr. Marion places a heavy emphasis on hands on work to help restore functional movement and range of motion with the aim being pain reduction and normalization of normal, pain free movement. This is supplemented with exercise prescription and direction to help patients achieve their goals in a self directed manner and help give them the tools they need to realize their health goals.
Alan MacEachern graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in 2000. As a new grad, he was quickly introduced to the importance of the Kinesiology role in workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation working in a large Work Hardening facility in the Fredericton, NB.
Over the course of his career, he has gathered extensive experience implementing, coordinating and managing client-centered programs, while providing Leadership and Management to support clients and staff. Over the past several years, Alan has also been exposed to the recruiter and talent acquisition environment, while supporting the development and growth of the organizations he has worked with.
Alan has joined CVE as a Manager of Vocational Rehabilitation Services where he manages the Vocational Rehabilitation Team in their day-to-day activities and program delivery. Alan values the community-first approach CVE Inc. presents for clients, the dedication we have to our clients and staff, and the positive impact we can have on the lives of others.
Originating from a town of 3000 people in the lowlands of the Scottish Borders, Abbi studied Media Studies at University and after graduation Abbi obtained employment in a commercial placement agency in an Administrative capacity. Within 6 months Abbi became a Recruitment Consultant placing procurement professionals into jobs across Scotland. Abbi enjoyed assisting candidates to be successful and decided to return to University to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and Vocational Rehabilitation. Following graduation, Abbi moved to Canada where she found employment as an Employment Specialist with an ODSP Service Provider. Abbi has over 15 years of collective experience of assisting people with disabilities to find meaningful employment in the city of Toronto, she joined CVE in 2018 as an Employment Integration Specialist and later contributing as Supervisor of Employment Services for our offices in Ottawa and Toronto. Abbi is very grateful to work with such wonderful colleagues and to have the honor to help so many amazing clients move forward in their careers.
Yvonne has worked in the Finance industry for many years. Although her main skills are accounting and administration, she enjoys working with a variety of people. Working at CVE is a natural fit for her as it covers all the challenges that she looks for while providing excellent customer service to both co-workers and staff.
Micheline joined the CVE team in March 2022. She has passion and the need to always help others. She comes from a strong healthcare background and later in life made the decision to return to college, where she successfully obtained her Medical Office Administration diploma with honors. She is a hardworking professional with excellent work ethics, driven by a genuine passion for helping others. Known for her compassion, reliability, and dedication, she strives to make a positive difference in every interaction. With a warm personality and a great sense of humor, she brings both professionalism and approachability to her work.
Raksha is passionate about numbers, accounting, and bookkeeping. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University (India) and has more than 6 years of experience in accounting, management, and financial reporting. Raksha joined CVE inc as Accounting Clerk in May 2023. Raksha is very excited for this opportunity and looking forward to growing with the company. In her spare time, she likes cooking and spending time outdoors with her two kids.
Melanie Mayer has 20 years of experience completing rehabilitation services.
She has a particular interest in community-based rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation. In therapy, her approach empowers individuals by providing them with the necessary tools and support to help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities at home, work & school.
Services can be provided in person at home, in the community, at the workplace, by telephone and virtually based on client comfort and goals. Language of service delivery can be in French or English.
Ms. Mayer is trained in the recovery of musculoskeletal injuries, mental health, cognitive impairments and chronic disease management.
Advocacy, collaborative care, trauma informed care principles are her model of practice.
In addition, Ms. Mayer regularly completes various independent assessment services in areas of vocational assessment, transferable skills analysis, labour market analysis, physical & cognitive job demands analysis, home modifications, ergonomics, home assessments, return to work programs, cognitive and physical clinical capacity testing (FCE), catastrophic impairment assessments.
Mansvi Vainsh is a qualified Physiotherapist with a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Gujarat University and additional qualifications in Fitness and Health Promotion from Algonquin College. Her diverse background has equipped her with a broad understanding of both clinical physiotherapy and exercise science, enhancing her ability to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for her clients.
With extensive experience working with individuals dealing with musculoskeletal conditions and geriatric rehabilitation, Mansvi focuses on using evidence-based practices to provide the best possible care. She employs a variety of manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Additionally, she integrates therapeutic exercises and postural education to support long-term recovery and prevent future injuries. She is committed to providing holistic care, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of rehabilitation to enhance overall well-being. Mansvi believes in the power of ongoing learning and continuously strives to stay updated to ensure the effectiveness of her treatments.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys playing sports and has a deep interest in exploring the philosophical aspects of life, which helps her maintain a balanced approach to both her personal and professional life.
Vigi has an educational background in psychology and sexuality studies, as well as a Master’s in Education. She has worked in various career fields but her passion has always been around working with individuals who identify with a disability. Throughout her education and employment journey Vigi volunteered at the Toronto and Ottawa Distress Centre helping callers with emotional challenges. Once completing her Master’s degree, Vigi worked at Carleton University under a pilot project to support students with disability prepare for employment once they graduated. Vigi also worked at Algonquin College as a Learning Strategist for the Centre of Accessible Learning (CAL) to support students with their learning habits and prepare them for success during their education. Vigi joined CVE as a Project Coordinator for the Skills for Success Pilot Project where she reaches out to various organizations for partnerships and spreads the news of the project’s role to supports adults who identifies with a disability find meaningful employment through 3 phase. Vigi is most proud of the safe space and professional work environment provided by CVE Inc. Clients feel safe and comfortable knowing all the staff members uphold professional behaviors and their privacy is respected.
Amanda is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in the community. Trained in various mental health support areas, crisis intervention, work adjustment and Canadian vocational assessment and evaluation, and with an educational background in Social Psychology, she employs an interpersonal approach to create tailored action plans for clients.
She has made significant contributions to ESDC (Employment and Social Development Canada) projects, developing a comprehensive multimodal Essential Skills curriculum that focuses on digital upskilling, communication, employment readiness, and personal development. Amanda has trained instructors and led virtual career development classes and workshops across Ontario. Her volunteer efforts extend to initiatives with social housing, youth mentoring, and active involvement in mental health advocacy. Her role within CVE reflects the organization’s commitment to empowering individuals and fostering positive outcomes in vocational rehabilitation.
Amra began working for CVE Inc. as a Kinesiologist/Functional Capacity Evaluator in 2008. In just a few short years she started expanding her skill sets to include completing Physical Demands Analysis, Ergonomic Assessments, Aqua Therapy, Dragon Naturally Speaking Software Training, Computer Training, Monthly Health and Safety Inspections, Employer Ergonomics Training, and Job Coaching. Amra has also developed a few programs for CVE Inc. that are successfully being delivered in both official languages. The latest title acquired is Policy, Procedure and Roster Manager. Amra enjoys the challenge of wearing many hats and working with a wide variety of clients.
Kassandra has recently joined CVE as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellor. With her background in Psychology and Human Resources Management, she is excited to give back to her community and help those who don’t feel seen or heard find meaningful employment. Kassandra has 10 years of customer service experience and 5 years working in human resources, she has also been a Listener on 7 cups of Tea, a free online platform that provides counseling and therapy anonymously, since 2014. She is grateful for companies like CVE that provide individuals from all walks of life with a safe space to explore career opportunities that are suited to their needs and that ultimately contributes to a positive sense of Self
Julie Ann comes to CVE with a rich and varied background in human services including supporting adults with developmental disabilities and pastoral ministry in rural congregations (United Church of Canada). She has done speaking and training in the area of grief and bereavement, and most recently worked in settlement services with francophone newcomers. Her academic formation began at the University of Ottawa with a BA in Religious Studies followed by studies in theology at both Queens and St. Paul University. Julie Ann recently completed a graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health at Algonquin College.
Supporting and celebrating people of all ages who live with learning disabilities and mental health concerns is a bedrock value for Julie Ann. As an employment counsellor with the YESS Project, Julie Ann accompanies her clients in discovering the ways they can contribute to our community with dignity, meaning and purpose.
Darcie Young found her way to movement and exercise therapy by taking a more unconventional path. Raised in Ottawa, Darcie displayed an aptitude for athletics from a young age. She trained as a competitive sprinter with The Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club for 12 years, specializing in the Women’s 100m and 200m Sprinting category.
In 2004 she pursued her passion for the theatre arts, completing an Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts-Theatre, from George Brown College in 2008.
With an ingrained passion for athletics and the science of human movement, combined with a love for the arts, Darcie made the decision to return to school to complete her Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from The University of Guelph, while simultaneously acquiring her Advanced Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College.
She began her career as a Personal trainer and Spin instructor for both corporate and private fitness companies until 2018, when she narrowed her focus to working clinically, in a variety of health settings.
Darcie specializes in vestibular/post-concussion syndrome rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease-specific exercise programming focused on delaying disease progression, and Pre/post-operative knee and hip replacement rehabilitation.
Darcie is proud to be a part of the CVE Inc. family, working alongside other dedicated and experienced healthcare practitioners in an interdisciplinary team that works hard to help our clients reach their physical, psychosocial, and professional goals.
Julia is a dedicated and results-driven employment professional with over 15 years of experience in career counseling, coaching, and job development. She is a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP), a Certified Résumé Writer, and holds both a Diploma in Career and Work Counseling and a University Certificate in Human Resources.
Throughout her career, Julia has built a proven track record of creating personalized action plans, developing professional job search documents, and empowering clients from diverse backgrounds to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. With over five years of experience in employment counselling, Janice Gourgues has supported diverse job seekers through Employment Ontario programs and previously through IRCC-funded initiatives for newcomers to Canada. Bilingual in English and French, Janice is skilled in job development, employer engagement, and leveraging networks to connect clients with meaningful employment opportunities. Known for effectively managing high caseloads of over 100 clients, Janice delivers tailored, client-centered employment counselling that leads to successful outcomes.

Dany is a dedicated Retention Specialist with over two years of experience supporting clients and fostering positive relationships. Since 2021, she has worked in Employment Services with Employment Ontario, helping individuals overcome barriers and achieve long-term success.

Colleen has many years of experience as an Administrative Assistant and 2 years of experience working with motor vehicle accident billing in a physiotherapy clinic. She came to CVE initially on the Intake side of Assessment Services scheduling appointments with assessors throughout the Province and then moved into the Document side of the assessment process
