Clinically Based Work Hardening Program

Clinically Based Work Hardening Program.

Highly specialized cognitive conditioning program that moves the individual of a standard rehabilitation to return to work by simulating work activities and environment work in a structured, supportive and controlled environment.

This program is best suited to people who have received physical or psychological services and who need to implement practice or learn additional strategies as part of therapy in a controlled and simulated work environment.

An initial assessment is carried out by an occupational therapist to determine tolerances to activities and obstacles occurring in the Workplace.

A personalized program is then formulated, which includes a systematic program of work-related activities carried out in a progressive manner, aiming to psychologically rehabilitate the person to facilitate their future return to employment in a competitive work environment.

The program can be adapted for people who need specialized equipment or assistive devices.
