CVE’s Employment Support Services are designed to support your individual needs to help you secure the best job possible, as quickly as possible. Whether you are looking for work for the first time or going back to work, our team of expert Employment Integration Specialists (EIS) are here to guide you every step of the way from career exploration and resume writing to job placement and assisting you to keep your job. 

Starting a new job can be a stressful and intimidating process. Our job coaching services help support job seekers in their first few weeks on the job. Our EIS can attend work with the individual, help get them comfortable with their new work environment, help train and develop skills on the job, and ensure all accommodations are met. Whether it be meeting for coffee on break or attending the workday, our employment professionals are here to ensure that work is an enjoyable and empowering experience. Upon employment, we offer ongoing communication with employers to proactively identify and address concerns/barriers/risks if required.

Eligibility

To qualify for employment support, you must:

·        Be at least 16 years old

·        Be an Ontario resident

·        Be legally allowed to work in Canada

·        Have a substantial physical or mental disability that is expected to last a year or more, and makes it hard for you to find or keep a job
